Annie Crawford was born on February 2, 1948 in Clio, South Carolina to the late Geneva Easterling Percell and John Percell. Annie entered eternal rest on October 17, 2023.
She received her education in the Scotland County School System. She worked and retired from Lincoln Community Health Center. She enjoyed spending time outside working in her flowers, taking care of her plants, planting fruits and vegetables in her garden. When she was able she also enjoyed getting out and visiting her family. No matter the outcome of any situation she was always there in the time of need. She loved her family. She was a praying mother that loved the Lord. She spent her last days surrounded with love, laughter and tears of joy.
Annie was preceded in death by her brothers, John Percell (Bubble), Jimmy Earl (Lutten), Jimmy Lane (Biggen), and a sister, Beatrice Hasty, her grandson, Randy Lee Hargraves, Jr, and a son, Emmanuel Lee Purcell.
She leaves loving memories of 25 years to her husband Kenneth Jerome Crawford.
She also leaves precious and unforgettable memories to her six children, William Henry Purcell, Gwendolyn Ann Percell, Sherry Sherica Thomas, Tynecca Nicole Hazel (St. Anthony), Henry Lee Davis Jr, Gypsy Yolanda Parker (Ronnie), one step-son, Shaun Anderson Crawford (Tanya), a sister Lucille Rochelle, brother Dan Percell, sister-in-law Glenzie Percell all of Durham, NC and brother Charles Percell (Nancy) of Laurinburg, NC, sister-in-law, Angela Sherrill (Joey) of Durham, 21 grand-children Antione Percell, Ratechia Hamlett, Takierra Minor , Derek Burton Jr, Deonte and Dominique Percell, Tierra Bass, Gicari Davis, Shyheem, Hakeem and Jahmere Davis, Shanya Burton, Amonti Estes, Taylor Davis, Khloe and Lynsey Parker, Emmanuel, Michael, Nycere and Nyasia. 16 great-grand-children and a special family friend of years Henry Davis, Sr and host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
