Effie Pettiford Steward was born February 12, 1933 to the late Sam and Lula Daye. She departed this life on June 24, 2022 at her home.
She leaves cherished memories to; her sons, Chuck (Lauronda) Pettiford of Roxboro, NC, Derrick (Kisha) Pettiford of the home, nine grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends, and one great-aunt, Annie Woods of Durham, NC.
Celebration of life will be held 2:00pm Friday, July 1, 2022 at Greater Cleggs Chapel Community Missionary Baptist Church 2601 Surl Mount Tirzah Rd, Timberlake, NC 27583
