Jaleisha Renee McCoy was a bright and remarkable soul who graced this world with her presence for 26 years. She was born in Clovis, New Mexico, to her loving parents, Juestina and Derrick McCoy. She is survived by her sisters, Ariana J. McCoy, Kaliyah D. McCoy, and her brother, Dewayne C. Stanley. Jaleisha was also cherished by her grandparents, Sun Cha and Lawrence Kydd, and Rosie Spann, along with her great grandmother, Ruth Tate. Her uncles, Tracy Tate (Coretta) and Curtis Pinnix (Danna), and great uncles, Calvin Tate and Melvin Tate, were all part of her close-knit family, along with a host of cousins who adored her.
Jaleisha's educational journey was an inspiring testament to her dedication and passion. She attended Lanier County in Lakeland, GA, and Panther Creek in Cary, NC, where she nurtured her thirst for knowledge. She went on to achieve an Associate's Degree in IT Application Development at Alamance Community College in Graham, NC, maintaining an impressive 4.0 GPA throughout her academic career. Jaleisha was a certified expert in various programming languages, including Python, HTML, CSS, Android Studio, Kotlin, and Java. Her creativity in technological management was boundless, always staying at the forefront of the latest tech trends and continually working on her own advanced techniques.
But Jaleisha was more than her academic achievements. She was a generous soul, deeply committed to giving back to her community. She selflessly volunteered for the Bike Lane and Pedestrian Advisory in the city of Mebane, exemplifying her dedication to making the world a better place.
Outside of her professional and volunteer endeavors, Jaleisha had a zest for life that was infectious. She loved spending quality time with her beloved family, who were the center of her world. Her passion for makeup was an art form that she shared with others, creating beauty in the world around her. Her love for analyzing and reviewing TV shows and animations showcased her profound appreciation for storytelling and creativity.
Jaleisha's passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her memory will forever shine as a beacon of inspiration and kindness. She touched the lives of those around her with her warmth, intelligence, and boundless compassion. Though she has left this world far too soon, her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
As we mourn the loss of Jaleisha, let us also celebrate the extraordinary life she lived and the profound impact she had on all of us. In honoring her memory, may we strive to carry forward her legacy of dedication, generosity, and love for both family and community.
